What kind of effect does the sun have on stained concrete and epoxy floor coatings?
Our products contain a UV resistant coating to prevent ambering from the sun, but even with UV resistance built in, extreme conditions may cause discolorization over time. If your new epoxy or concrete stained floor will be subject to extreme light conditions we suggest a polyurea topcoat for maximum protection. Our specially formulated polyurea coatings go the extra mile in UV protection, and while UV protection may be present in other products on the market, they will not hold up against extreme conditions. Our floors are only guaranteed against discolorization from the sun and or extreme light when you choose to install suggested applications for your flooring situation. Almost all concrete coating contractors say their products have UV resistance, but keep in mind, this is easily compared to sun tan lotion and its UV protection.
