PICC provides basic IV insertion training which includes both practicum and theory. Our training classes incorporates Illinois Nurse Practice Act, venipuncture sites, identification and explanation of equipment used, vascular access devices (including PICC and Mid-line), catheter care and maintenance, sterile techniques, catheter troubleshooting, and contraindications. Anatomical equipment with artificial veins is then used for your students to practice; we provides all materials used during training. Each student will receive a certificate of completion upon your facilities protocol. Our courses can be customized to your facility needs and requirements.
