I would go to your local shelter and see what they have. Shelters have so many friendly dogs that are just waiting for someone to love them. As far as health issues go, any dog can have them. Mostly you just never really know. That my friend is what they call the luck of the draw. But seriously I would consider a shelter. I got my yorkie mix from a shelter and she is one of the best little dogs I’ve ever had. Also you can usually tell what kind of personality he has when you can interact with him at the shelter.
