What kind of dog breed is the best type for me?
Any dog treated right and raised correctly can be any of those things you described. But remember that aside from all those cute things, a dog also craps two, three, four times a day which you have to clean. Pees even more frequently that you also have to clean. Sheds fur that you. again, have to clean. Needs play time, exercise, grooming, regular vet visits. Can scratch and break furniture, dig up yards/plants. Can jump over a fence, eat all sorts of disgusting things and will sometimes smell like something from hell. They bark (coincidentally it seems they do that when you are asleep), whine, cry, snarl. And we are not even into the REAL problems yet. If you really think you can handle that and more for the dog’s entire life, then perhaps you can get a dog. But if you honestly think that’s too much, then I w would go with the majority here and advice that you just get yourself a stuffed toy instead. Dogs ( and pets in general) are living breathing creatures and not some disposable it
