All items crossing the border between Canada and the US have to be sent with the right documentation. For low value items, this documentation may simply be a customs declaration sticker on the outside of the package, indicating the contents and their value, which your seller will complete at the post office. For larger, more valuable shipments, documentation such as a NAFTA certificate may be in order.
