Western doctors offices tend not to treat fungal infections and see Candida overgrowth as just a “stress disorder.” You want to see someone who will take you seriously and not just say it’s all in your head. They used to have information on their old website for treating Candida at home, using things like garlic and oregano and about 20 other suggestions. On a side note, if you just can’t wait and need to do something now – I just bought organic garlic at the local farmers market -eaten raw in small chunks like vitamins- and an oregano oil supplement for $7 at the grocery store -Whole Foods- which fit my budget.
