I’m looking at a getting a Dodge Charger and my neighbor has offered in the past that I could use his friends and family discount. I was wondering if it was worth it or if I could get a better price by negotiating. A: I just bought an 08 Chrysler Pacifica on what is called an affiliate program. The affiliate pricing, which is what it sounds like your neighbor can get for you, is Invoice minus 1% plus incentives. Unless you’re one heck of a negotiator, I doubt you can get much better than this. In the case of my Pacifica, I paid invoice less about $300 and got the 0% financing or 72 months, (instead of the optional $2000 rebate) which saved me about $7400. The Pacifica was NOT on their sale list, so there were no further incentives, however, had I got the 300C instead, I could have gotten both the rebate and the 0%.
