What Kind of Data Can I use With TacMapper?
TacMapper can import a variety of digital images that are widely available via the internet at sites such as www.mapmart.com and www.terraserver.com, ESRI shapefiles, and tabular data stored in Microsoft Access Databases that have an X and Y location stored in separate fields. Digital Images: TIF, GIF, JPEG, or BMP image files which have a World File definition file or a MapInfo TAB file. Spatial Data: ESRI Point and Polyline Shapefiles. Microsoft Access Databases which store spatial data as X and Y attributes in separate fields (known as X, Y event data).
