somewhere between moderate and drastic damage. The belt snaps so the valves and pistons etc aren’t timed together in perfect sync as they should be, the pistons hit some valves they rattle/break bent, damaging the chamber petrols still being injected in to the cylinder so possibly some burning and excessive heat as it cant circulate as the valves are stuck, leaving hot spots in the damaged areas. In a lucky very lucky scenario, you need new valves and suffer a slightly reduced performance due to the chamber damage. Normally you’ll pure and simply need a new engine, the damage can be so severe the cost of parts and labour to repair would equal if not exceed the cost of replacement.
