What kind of crimes did witches commit during Elizabethan and Jacobean England?

Witches, in the way that those of previous centuries viewed them, of course didn’t exist. They were just unfortunates that were caught up in someone else’s paranoia. And as for today’s ‘witches’ being real, well some of them certainly believe they are. And who can deny that these people are physically present in the world? But as for being witches, we have to look at them from a different standpoint. They don’t conform to the popular view of witches, and let’s face it, that perception is pure hokum, but they do believe in whatever it is they believe in. Aww. I had a dog once that I really believe thought himself to be Napoleon. If they’re really witches, they should check their spelling. But back to the question: the reality is they didn’t commit crimes. Or, to put it another way, they were accused of crimes they didn’t commit. A bit like the A-team, perhaps.
