What kind of cranes does Washington Crane School use for the crane operator certification practical exams?
For our crane operator certification practical exams in Washington we use a National 600B boom truck which covers the certification test for the small telescopic boom crane (fixed cab). For the large telescopic boom crane (swing cab) certification we utilize a Hitachi UR-50CH crane which only has 27′ of boom this is officially the shortest boom Swing cab crane that has had cad drawings issued for it by the National Crane Operator Certification Testing Agency. Which results in what we believe makes it easier to pass on than any other crane in the country.
