What kind of courses does The VLH offer?
The VLH offers two basic types of courses: • Case-based, skill-building courses where you make management decisions for one or more virtual patients and consult tutorials and other information resources of your choosing. Case-based programs usually have either a post activity CME exam or a pretest/posttest. You do NOT need to pass the exam with a set score, but you do need to complete it. • Quiz-based, self-assessment/learning programs where you answer as many questions as you like, accumulating CME credit with each correctly answered question. Quiz-based programs are designed to test your existing knowledge rather than to teach you new skills. These programs do NOT have an exam.
