What kind of connection do UA and non-UA groups need to their building and to their computers to connect to Internet2?

UA users need a standard campus network connection. If a user has a UA network address, their network traffic to another Internet2 site is automatically routed through Internet2. However, 100 Mbps connection is recommended for data-intensive applications, and not all departments have connections up to that speed. Not sure what speed your connection is? Ask your network manager or contact CCIT Computer Operations (621-7999). Non-UA users need to be sponsored by an Internet2 member (the UA, for example) to be allowed to access to Internet2 resources.
