ASHS II can support Windows 95, 98, 2000, and NT 4.0 operating systems and can run in with as little as 128MB RAM and 300MB free space on a hard drive. Recommended systems (especially for use with JUMP) include Windows XP Pro with no less than 1GB of RAM and 80GB of free hard drive space. You should have Microsoft Word (or equivalent word processing software) to print reports, a printer, and possibly a plotter to produce large format maps. A large (19″ or greater) monitor (or two if you use GIS) is recommended for working with maps.
