What kind of commitment is associated with a sorority?
Sorority life does have commitments, just like any other part of your life. Attendance is most likely required at weekly meetings, philanthropic events, and certain Chapter activities. However, as a member of a sorority, it is normal to see many women working, playing a sport, and volunteering for the community throughout the school year. Once you start college, you start your own life and have your own schedule. The sorority is there to give you support throughout your academic, social, and personal life. It does not hold members back from experiencing college on your own.
