What kind of combat strategies are there?
There are a lot of factors to take in account for when engaging in naval combat. If you want to hamper the speed of a boat simply use your canons to take out the boat’s sails, practically leaving it a sitting duck. If a boat’s firepower is too much for you attack their guns so they are hampered that way. If you have the right stuff you can repair your ship, sails, or guns, but you’ll need to weigh your options and repair what you think will best help you out.
