What kind of coatings Ruukki have for roofing?
For roofing products we have Ruukki Pural and Ruukki Polyester. Pural is a polyurethane based coating, which is at its best in roofing and cladding sheets. It is easy to handle in the manufacture and installation of profile sheets. A slightly structured surface makes it resistant to corrosion by snow and ice, as well as to UV radiation. Pural’s characteristic qualities are its resistance to chemicals and the ease with which it can be repainted. Products made of Pural coated steel comes with a 15-year warranty. Polyester is recommended for sites where the coating does not have to be particularly weather-resistant. The coating is suitable not only for roofing and wall cladding, but also for other construction cladding. Products made of Polyester coated steel come with a 10 year warranty.
