What kind of church will be planted in Jakarta? Is it going to be similar to what we have seen in the last couple of years with other church plants?
HMCC of Jakarta will have the same DNA as the other HMCC locations, but one aspect that we always have to factor into the equation is contextualization. We have to see what God has already been doing in that particular location. We also have to be sensitive to the needs of the people in that location and see what role we can play in meeting those needs. Too often people and ministries come in with their own agendas, which end up failing miserably. We want to make sure that we are following the Spirit’s promptings in planting this church.
