What kind of childcare support is available at UEA?
The UEA does provide a crèche, which can be used by all students, but is not available to work with the clinical placements required as part of the course. You would be advised to contact Norfolk County Council Social Services on 01603 622292 who can put you in contact with a Registered Childcare Facilities in your area. A means-tested scheme, which aims to provide assistance with childcare by covering up to 80% of the costs, is now in place. Information about this scheme will be provided with bursary application packs to successful applicants.
