What kind of charities does Val support or get involved with?
Val has supported several non profit organizations and environmental groups. Most notably Val joined the team from AmeriCares in May of 1998, going to Baghdad to assist in delivering and distributing 90,000 pounds of medicines, medical supplies and food for the Iraqi people. Val has also been active with Habitat for Humanity, an organization which constructs homes for low income families through the efforts and donations of the local communities. Val supports Lead or Leave, a non partisan youth political awareness campaign, he has been involved in environmental protection efforts and is a strong supporter of Native Americans.
