In recent years, vital seed funding has been provided directly to researchers working in bowel, breast, brain, colorectal, lung, liver, pancreatic, prostate, skin and thyroid cancers as well as leukaemia & children’s cancers. Work in drug design, chemotherapy, radiotherapy as well as understanding cancer genetics has also received seed funding.
