What kind of bug looks like an ant but flies?
An ant has a very narrow waist – even a winged ant has a narrow waist. Ants and termites swarm in the spring when it starts getting warm outside. They do this to start new colonies. Both can swarm inside the house. Termites will not have the narrow waist so you will be able to tell the difference by looking. As far as the baby is concerned they are pretty much harmless to it. Not pretty to look at or clean up but otherwise harmless. On the other hand it is telling you that you have a colony living under your home and big enough to send out winged males and females to start anew elsewhere.
