What kind of browsing service is available to smartphones using BlackBerry 6 OS? How is it charged locally and internationally?
A single browser is available on BlackBerry 6 OS smartphones. Browsing will be charged according to content type and user location. a) Browsing Internet locally in HK • With the exception of media streaming, browsing entails email data usage and will be deducted from your package until individual plan limits are reached, after which thereafter charges will be incurred. b) Browsing Internet while roaming • Charges will be made at roaming GPRS rates. c) Browsing Internet via PCCW Wi-Fi hotspots • Internet access can be performed at PCCW Wi-Fi hotspots* at no additional charge. *Customer must subscribe to PCCW Wi-Fi service and use a BlackBerry smartphone that supports Wi-Fi. d) Browsing PCCW mobile Channels in HK (WAP browser is not available in BlackBerry 6 OS smartphones) • No GPRS charge in HK. e) Browsing PCCW mobile Channels while roaming • Charges will be made at roaming GPRS rates.
