What kind of behavior classifies a person as being passive aggressive?
Passive agressive is defined as the type of person who will avoid direct conflict in favour of indirect action and sabotage. For example, two people disagree, one wants to go out the other doesn’t. When asked about going out, the passive agressive person will not actually say they do not want to go and to avoid the conflict of conversation, they instead give an impression that they will go out as requested but actually have no intention of doing so. They then engage in sabotage (causing something to happen so they can’t go out), or avoidance and pretence (for example, accidentally forgetting they were going out) and so on. Nothing is said outright but despite what they said they would do, they end up not actually doing it all. Passive aggressive will promise to do one thing and somehow, always seem to end up not having done it at all.
