What kind of batteries do you recommend using with SureFlap?
The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap operates using four AA (1.5V) batteries. We recommend the use of good quality, alkaline batteries in order to give the longest lifetime. Rechargeable batteries may also be used, however, they generally produce a lower voltage and will not last as long – you may need to recharge such batteries every few months.
