Any sporting goods store that carries skates will usually have a couple bags designed for them. The major skate companies make them and a few other brands. Many of them are designed with backpack straps. I use a generic (cylindrical) gear bag with a zipper along the side that cost about 10 bucks. I bought it big enough to carry skates, helmet, pads, and skating clothes. Just has regular handles (that are big enough to carry over one shoulder) and a shoulder strap. I think I got it at Target. I have a couple of the others but the generic bag is the most convenient to carry for general use. When I have to carry the skates for longer distances, I use an old backbapck (just one main compartment, not the ones designed to carry books for school) that the skates fit in. It counts as carry on luggage for air travel. Since it has one compartment, the helmet and pads fit with the skates. It has padded straps so it is comfortable to carry the skates longer distances on foot, or a lot of other stu
