This formula is recommended for macaws, hawkheads, and eclectus babies. It may also be used for other babies that exhibit a higher energy need. This formula is not recommended for cockatoos because they have a tendency for fatty liver syndrome. The Macaw Formula has been successfully fed to cockatiels and other fast growing babies. However, we recommend closely monitoring the baby’s weight.
