What kind of athletic facilities does Alfred State have?
We are very proud of the athletic facilities. The athletic department is located in the Orvis Activities Center. Inside Orvis is the new refurbished gymnasium, a state-of-the art fitness center, a six-lane swimming pool, locker rooms, and an athletic training room. Outside of Orvis you will find the college’s new baseball and softball fields, a soccer/lacrosse field, a six lane track, and practice fields for all outdoor sports. A new athletic facility is currently being built featuring field turf, an eight lane track, lights, bleachers, and a press box. The facility will be the new home for Pioneer football, soccer, lacrosse, and track and field.
