What Kind of Aquatic Plants and Fish Live in Ponds?
Ponds are teeming with aquatic and semiaquatic plants and many different types of colorful fish. Many of the fish that live in ponds are of the hardy variety and can live through winters and frozen ponds. They can also live more than 20 years. They come in a range of sizes and colors, much like plants that thrive in ponds. These include water lilies, submerged plants like anacharis and floating plants like the water hyacinth.
