What kind of animals do veterinary technician check on?
That depends on what kind of practice the Vet Tech is in. Some work only with dogs and cats; some work only with horses; there are cat-only practices, bird-only practices, and practices which focus on “exotics” (which can include reptiles, birds, pocket pets like guinea pigs and hamsters). Some Vet Techs work in zoos, and others work in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. At an Emergency Vet Hospital, the Vet Techs are likely to see a wide range of species. Oh, and I almost forgot those that work with large-animal Vets seeing primarily livestock and helping to maintain herd health. Basically, it depends on the Tech and his or her areas of interest.
