Italy has a large abundance of Bears, in fact its becoming a problem in the recents months. I have heard many stories about bears, we have brown, and black bears. Also Italy has rabbits, and lots of birds. In the north there are cows, and wolves. If you get into the mountain areas you will find mountain goats, and sheep. You really need to be careful of the bears.
