As above, sort of like a guillemot or a big puffin. The Great Auk became extinct due to hunting by man in the mid 19th century.

The great auk was sort of like a penguin. It waddled clumsily, exposing it to the threat of us humans, who were the cause behind its extinction. Awww!!!
