What kind of anesthesia is used for an upper and lower lid blepharoplasty?
Typically, both upper and lower blepharoplasty surgeries are done under a general anesthesia, lasting approximately one hour. The upper lids and lower lids each take approximately 30 minutes to perform. Anesthesia is administered by our board certified physician anesthesiologists from Swedish Medical Center on First Hill in Seattle, Washington.
