What Kind of Allergies Trigger Asthma?
Just because a person has asthma does not mean that he or she will also have allergies; and reversely, just because a person has allergies does not mean that he or she has asthma, although the two may often occur together. Many times a person with asthma who also has allergies will experience asthma attacks that are triggered by an allergic reaction. Persons whose asthma attacks are always triggered by allergies are considered to have allergy-induced asthma.
