What kind of adverse reactions are associated with the vaccine?
In the pre-licensure studies, the only adverse reaction was fever. Temperature of 38C (100.4F) or higher attributable to the vaccine was observed in 3%-25% of vaccinated children. Most episodes of fever were seen following the first dose of vaccine, mostly on days 3-5 after administration.
