Ok, what you need is called Padding Compound. It’s not as “wet” as regular glue. I’ve always thought it would be fun to try this myself. I’ve heard you can use rubber cement for this, too, but I’ve never tried it, and I would think it wouldn’t be as strong as the Padding Compound. Use two coats of rubber cement, and a coat of clean nail polish! Nobody said it wasn’t labor intensive! 😉 You will also need a clamping system to do this.
