21st Annual Riverfest Arts and Crafts Festival will be held at Boling Park in Canton on Sept. 24 and 25, 2005. The juried show has approximately 25,000 visitors each year and more than 150 vendors selling everything from handmade furniture to jewelry. The show is hosted by the Service League of Cherokee County, a non-profit women’s club dedicated to raising funds for the needy children of Cherokee County. Stage acts include everything from regional dance acts to musical groups. Roving bluegrass bands play throughout both days and sports demonstrations are held also. Civil War Re-enactors are featured both days of the show and set up encampments.
