What kind of activities do the children/teens/adults engage in during their groups?

0

• The children’s groups open with a talking circle time where children can express their feelings and thoughts. This opening circle time is followed with a facilitator-led activity. After the activity, children are given the opportunity for free play in any area at our center that they choose: the dress up room, volcano room, games room, or art area. The groups end with a closing circle time that allows children to share the activities they engaged in during group. The teen groups also start with an opening circle time. They may also then do an activity of their choice or suggested by the facilitator, or they may choose to sit and talk for the whole session.
