What kind of academic assistance is available?
The faculty and staff at FVCC strive to make each students college experience as successful as possible. FVCC offers tutoring services. We have a math lab, writing lab, and reading lab available to all students at no charge. Students also have access to the FVCC library which has state-of-the-art resources both for research as well as for quiet study.
Tiffin University students find our faculty accessible and willing to help. All full-time faculty carry at least 10 office hours per week and are available by individual appointment. Students are encouraged to discuss questions or concerns with the professor. Upper-level students that have been recommended by professors in specific subject areas staff The Learning Center, located in Friedley Hall. Tutoring and review sessions are available by appointment or walk-in 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. – Noon on Friday.
