What kind of a country is USA when people feel they need to carry concealed handguns for protection?
How is a ban on hand guns going to stop that kind of crime.Criminals already own guns illegally.The only thing it will do is disarm the law abiding citizens and make them defenseless.Hand guns were banned in Morton Grove Illinois in 1982 and 15% increase in the crime rate followed.That same year in Kennesaw Georgia a law was passed requiring mandatory gun ownership.What followed was a 73% drop in the crime rate and since 1982 there have only been three murders in Kennesaw.All that tells me is that gun control will make a criminals job easier and safer.
