There are three major test pilot schools in the United States out of only seven test pilot schools world-wide. These include: The U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School at Edwards AFB in Palmdale California, The U.S. Navy Test Pilot School at Patuxent River Maryland and the National Test Pilot School at Mojave California. Together the three schools offer test and development curricula associated with the military services in addition to commercial aircraft test and systems validation.
