What job out there on average pays the best salary?
It’s been a while since I’ve been in the job market, but some things don’t change much. First, are you talking about jobs requiring a college education? If so, the possibilities are great for law, medicine(specially research), and business/finance–but in this one you need to score in top 10% of class and finish at a recognized business school to get the big bucks. Then there are the sciences–electrical, computer, aero, and those type engineering. I am a retired research physicist and never got top salaries. The ones who develop things for businesses to sell make more but I loved my work. Notice the above named professions all take lots of time and work. And generally, lots of math. You must be dedicated and not just “want” money. If you’re not considering college, there are professions like electrician, welding, plumbing, off shore oil fields, pilots(the military is a good way to get training for that).
