What items cannot be carried as hand baggage?
In the interest of passenger security, no sharp or potentially dangerous items may be carried in the aircraft cabin. This list includes such obvious items as scissors, knives etc. Any prohibited items identified on the x-ray or by direct search, will be confiscated by airport security staff. The following items may NOT be carried under any circumstances – compressed gases, corrosives, explosives, flammable liquids. Please note any items refused at the security search will not be accepted for checking in as hold luggage once check-in for your flight has closed, this is normally 30 minutes before scheduled departure time.
