What items are not allowed on a plane in hand luggage?

I take my iPod Touch with me on flights; you will not be able to use it (or any other electronics) during take off, landing, and a little bit of time right after takeoff and landing. The flight attendants will let you know when ‘it’s safe to use electronic devices’. For what’s allowed and not – http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p… will discuss what’s allowed and what’s not. Edit: I DO travel with AAA batteries (those are allowed; it’s the charger batteries that must be secured in your luggage) for my headphones as well as a pair of nail clippers (without the nail cleaner knife, although I’ve been told that it would be allowed, since it’s less than 1-11/2 inch) I don’t take the clippers with the nail cleaner and have never had an issue.
