What items are not allowed into the courthouse?
POSSESSION OF ANY WEAPON OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE IN COURT FACILITY IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED UNDER ORS. 166.370. All weapons including, but not limited to knives and mace or pepper spray and firearms, or anything that can be used as a weapon are prohibited. Other items include, but are not limited to: fingernail files, box cutters, brass or metal knuckles, knitting needles, wire cutters, tin snips, screwdrivers, any type of tool, any form or size of knife or other edged weapon, kubatons, ASP batons, PR24’s, any type of slugging device, firearms of any description, explosive devices, propellants, blasting caps, dynamite, fireworks, or any type of incendiary device, gasoline or other volatile fluid, laser pointers, stun guns, Tasers or similar devices, any clothing or other items that are spiked or contain sharp points, alcoholic beverages, drugs, drug paraphernalia, paint, hairspray, ammunition.
