If a previous house has received a positive result for Salmonella Enteritidis or Typhimurium, please ensure that when ordering your salmonella testing kits the office has been informed as more environmental gauze swabs are required to be taken. You must take 5 gauze swabs from each required area to be tested per area not as a composite sample, as well as 50g of rodent faeces if available from surfaces in house, or service area in none available in house. If they is no rodent faeces available, please take the additional gauze swab provided and wipe along the areas around the bait boxes per house.
