What issues will the Marine Policy Institute address?
The range is broad. Subject to available resources, the MPI will respond to the needs of both the marine science and marine policy communities. The initial focus of the Institute is on topics that involve land-sea interactions. These include Florida red tides, coastal and beach resource management and marine zoning for habitat and species conservation.
