What issues will i run into publishing a local non-profit newspaper?
Two main issues I can think of: 1. Generating revenue. Publishing is very expensive. Someone’s going to have to sell a bunch of ads unless you’re independently weathy. 2. You have the right to publish articles about the subjects you mentioned, as well as anything else. Be sure you understand libel law, however. Freedom of the press guarantees you the right to write about any subject you want, and to express any opinion you want. But it does not give you the right to publish information that you know to be false, or to recklessly disregard the truth.
