What issues do the children of homeless women face? What does Hope Place provide for them?
For the kids in our program, we work with their schools to verify their attitudes, behaviors, and grades. They also receive case management, tutoring, and field trips so that their lives can be just as successful as their mothers. We have a Children’s Coordinator who oversees the progress of each child. We provide counseling for the children as they grapple with their current situation and their relationships with their parents and friends.
