What isolation distances must be maintained when burning?
The burning of Paper and Yard Waste shall take place in areas free of weeds and NOT CLOSER THAN FIFTY FEET (50′) to any building, structure, wooden fence, or piled combustible materials. Fires MUST be attended by an adult at ALL TIMES until the fire is extinguished. At least one portable fire extinguisher with a minimum 4-A rating, two fire extinguishers with a minimum 2-A rating each, or other approved on-site fire extinguishing equipment such as dirt, sand, water barrel, garden hose or water truck SHALL BE AVAILABLE FOR IMMEDIATE UTILIZATION.
